Hosting on game day comes with one rule: nobody wants to be stuck in the kitchen during the fourth quarter. The best game day food is easy to grab, easy to share and easy to pick up on the way home. A dozen malasadas checks every box.
Why malasadas work for a crowd
- No utensils, no plates required. Grab one and get back to the game.
- Everyone likes them. Kids, grandparents, the neighbor who only came for the snacks.
- They are different. Chips and dip are at every party. Hot Portuguese-Hawaiian doughnuts are not.
- The math works. A dozen runs about $2 a person.
Our game day dozen deal
During football season, ask about our game day dozen deal (currently $19.95 for a dozen). Regular pricing is $26.00 for 12 or $14.00 for 6. You can mix sugars, fillings and drizzles, or grab a Founder’s Favorites box and let us pick for you.
Round out the spread
If your group needs more than dessert, add a few sandwiches on malasada buns. Kalua pork and B.B.Q. pork are $9.45, B.B.Q. chicken and Southwest chicken are $9.95, and the burgers start at $9.75. Cut them in half and they go further than you would think.
- Small watch party (4 to 6 people): a dozen malasadas and a few sandwiches cut in half.
- Big crowd (10+): two dozen malasadas. For anything bigger, see our catering options.
- Morning kickoff: breakfast sandwiches and a box of malasadas.
