Hot pumpkin spice latte in an Onoh's Malasada Co cup

Coffee and Breakfast in Pleasant Grove: What to Order at Onoh’s

Most people in Pleasant Grove know Onoh’s for malasadas. Fewer know it is also a full coffee shop that opens at 8am, six days a week. If your morning usually means a drive-thru coffee and a breakfast sandwich that came out of a microwave, this is the upgrade: espresso drinks made to order, and breakfast sandwiches cooked on the spot on a fresh malasada bun.

Here is what to order, depending on the kind of morning you are having.

If you just need coffee

Keep it simple with a drip coffee or an Americano, both from $3.00. Espresso starts at $2.75 if you want it straight. Everything is available hot or iced.

If you want something smoother, a latte or cappuccino starts at $4.50. The mocha and chai latte start at $5.75, and the iced chai latte ($6.25) is a good pick on warmer days.

If you want something a little more fun

The Nutella latte ($6.00) is rich and a little sweet, and it pairs well with a sugared malasada.

In the fall, the pumpkin spice latte is back for a limited time, hot or iced, from $6.00. If you have been waiting all year for it, now is the time.

If you are not a coffee person

Onoh’s also makes island energy drinks and hand-crafted lemonades at the counter. The energy lineup includes Aloha, Island Breeze, Luau, Shark Attack and Blue H20. On the lemonade side, try Hula Melon, Maui Mango, Riptide or Surf’s Up. Iced tea is there too.

The breakfast part is what sets it apart

A lot of coffee stops treat food as an afterthought. At Onoh’s, breakfast is half the reason to come in. Every breakfast sandwich is cooked to order and served on a malasada bun, which is lightly sweet, soft and nothing like a standard English muffin.

  • Bacon & Egg, $6.95
  • Sausage & Egg, $6.95
  • Spam & Egg, $6.95
  • Ham & Egg, $6.95
  • Egg & Cheese, $5.95

Add a hash brown for $1.95. And if you have never had a malasada, get one hot. Single malasadas start at $2.35, and you can pick your sugar, filling and drizzle.

Our go-to morning orders

  • The quick stop: drip coffee and a hot sugared malasada.
  • The full breakfast: Spam & Egg sandwich, hash brown and an iced latte.
  • The sweet tooth: Nutella latte and a filled malasada.
  • The office run: a box of 12 malasadas ($25.00) and a round of lattes. For bigger groups, see our catering options.

Bring your laptop

Onoh’s has free Wi-Fi, plenty of seating and a clean, bright space, so it works well as a place to get some work done over breakfast. Remote workers and students are welcome to settle in.
